Are you interested in antiques? Have you wondered how the business of antiques works? Do you have antiques and wonder what they are worth? This class is an opportunity to learn more about antique buying and selling.
On Wednesday, Dec. 3, 1 p.m., Neil Redmond, a Senior appraiser at EJ's Auction & Appraisal, will help you understand what is considered an antique, how it is appraised, and how the auction process works.
Redmond will talk about coins, stamps, tapestries, art work, jewelry, furniture, signed memorabilia (how to ensure authentication), carnival glass and more. Learn what is the best way to sell antiques and what's hot, and what’s not!
Attendees are invited to bring one item for Neal to review.
Neil Redmond has worked with EJ's Auction & Appraisal since it was founded in 2009, and has been involved in the antique industry for 30 years. He is a certified Graduate Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA) and follows the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
