Kevon Fedarko is a seasoned author and journalist renowned for his exploration of the American Southwest and his fervent advocacy for environmental conservation. He has been a staff writer for Time magazine and a senior editor at Outside, where he covered adventure travel. He and his wife own Bright Side Bookshop in Flagstaff where they live and spend their free time hiking in and around the Grand Canyon.
